DEI Marketing Case Study: KPLU Jazz and Blues Cruises
Summary: KPLU has hosted cruises on the Royal Argosy in Seattle's Elliot Bay for 15 years, featuring Jazz and Blues Brunches, and distinct jazz and blues cruises, with live music. KPLU typically hosts three cruises per season (more in past years) and averages 425-450 people per cruise. Tickets are $55 each (no member discounts). Each cruise nets approximately $15,000-$18,000.
DEI Webinar: The Great Baltimore Check-In
Presented by Steve Yasko, General Manager, WTMD 89.7 on February 21, 2012   Last year WTMD launched a city-wide community engagement campaign, the Great Baltimore Check-In.  The station partnered with city magazine, Urbanite, and used Foursquare to drive "check-ins" at 89 of Baltimore's notable places.  With promotion on both the station and in the magazine, the campaign was deemed a success with tons of buzz, over 1100 check-ins and new underwriting revenue.  Come hear how they did it and the lessons learned along the way.   Register Here to Access Playback
