2012 Wealth Screening Opportunities

DEI is partnering with premier providers SharpeNet Data Services and Target Analytics to provide cost-effective appended data and person-by-person prospect research services to inform station major and planned giving efforts as well as membership upgrade opportunities.

In order to best meet your needs now and in the future, stations can choose to sign-up for individual a la carte elements or for the total service package.

Depending on file size and selected option, data services can be delivered within 10 days of your registration submission.

Registration for the 2012 participation is open ended. For more than 12,000 records the service is on-demand. For fewer than 12,000 records we need enough orders to total 12,000 and then will proceed with processing. Filling out the form begins the process.  Register Now

Options and Data Applications

Options include:

How will you use the data and research in your fundraising?

  • Use Net Worth Ratings to target wealthy donors for upgrade from member status to mid-level and from mid-level to major donor.
  • Use NetWorth Ratings to identify specific donors worthy of deeper, more detailed research
  • Use Age, Gender and Marital Status Appended Data to target those most likely to respond to various offers, including planned giving information.
  • Position your station to maximize planned giving efforts by using age append along with station “# of years a member” data.
  • Use on-line individual research tools to increase knowledge at a personal level to prepare for cultivation visits and ultimately appropriate five/six figure solicitations.

Wealth Ranking & Donor File Enhancement - DEI/SharpeNet Data Services

You download a .cvs file in the specified field format (Acct ID, First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, 5 digit zip, Zip+4) and approximately two weeks later, upload with an average 85% match rate (you pay only for matched records, not the total file submitted):

  • Exact Age - Month and Year
  • Gender
  • Marital Status
  • Net Worth Wealth Rating in 11 levels up to  $2,000,000+

If you have 12,000+ data records:

  • 8.5 cents per matched record/$950 minimum + $250 flat fee  (*Team Approach users see special requirements)
  • Registration open for 2012.
  • Self-select your deadline for data submission – from registration day through 2012
  • Download and submit specified CSV file format by stated delivery deadline*
  • Data returned within 10 business days of file submission for upload

If you have fewer than 12,000 data files:

  • Offered as a co-op among stations
  • Station data is compiled by DEI to secure the same low per match record rate combined with a lower minimum.
  • 8.5 cents per matched record plus $350 flat fee * (Team Approach users see note below)
  • Once we achieve our 12,000 record goal, stations will be notified and asked to submit downloads in the specified csv file format.  Registrants will be notified regarding data deadlines and deliverables.
  • DEI compiles data from participating stations and submits to Sharpe within 5 days of receiving data.
  • Station data returned to each participating stations within 15 working days of DEI’s data transmittal to SharpeNet.


*Team Approach Stations:
Due to customized download/upload field mapping requirements for fixed width download and upload for Team Approach users, TA clients will be assessed an additional $1,200 custom programming fee regardless of file size. Individual Prospect Research - DEI & Target Analytics

Password-protected station access to online research tools and databases:

  • Individual Prospect Research
    • Real estate holdings
    • Giving history to other organizations
    • Spouse information and data
    • Source of wealth/stock holdings

    • Strict or relaxed matching logic on a case by case basis

  • All tiers of service include quarterly online user forums/webinars and/or individual phone consultation.
     
  • 4 Tiers to choose from depending on your research needs

Option 1:  Up to 100 Records
PDF WealthPoint Profile - You submit data files and receive detailed reports for each  matched record up to 100 records.   $3.00 per record; $150 minimum. 
Cost range:  $150 - $300

Option 2: 101 - 1000 Records
Research Point Crystal - You submit data files and access detailed INDIVIDUAL reports for each matched record PLUS live, online anywhere, anytime look-up for up to 500 more records. Up to 2 concurrent users can do research as well as run reports, conduct queries etc. Includes training.   $995 software license fee plus $2 per record (100 record minimum).
Cost range:  $995 software license fee, plus $200 - $2,000

Option 3:  1001 - 5,000 Records
Research Point Crystal with Echelon Power Segments - In addition to Research Point Crystal data, Echelon provides additional liquidity rating scores to unveil non-public assets and provide a prediction for capacity and inclination to give THIS YEAR. Up to 2 concurrent users can do research as well as run reports, conduct queries etc. Includes training.  $995 software license fee plus $1.40 per record (1,000 record minimum).
Cost range:  $995 software license plus $1,400 - $14,000

Option 4:  5,000+ records
Unlimited Access:  For unlimited access to online wealth screening tools, as well as predictive modeling for major gift potential and suggested ask amounts, register with DEI's online form and Target Analytics will develop a no-obligation, custom quote for your consideration. 5,001 record minimum 
Cost range:  varies (custom quote)

DEI has negotiated these cost-effective arrangements on behalf of its member stations to provide an unprecedented level of access and service to meet the data and research needs of all size station operations. Fees outlined include all license fees, DEI management fees, and per item charges.  Depending on the option you select, billing may be directly from the DEI Partner service provider(s) or through DEI.
