WJCT seeks a Corporate Marketing Representative responsible for securing new and renewing TV/FM/Web underwriting and sponsorships through direct customer contact within the First Coast.
The successful candidate will be adept at prospecting and building long-term associations while providing quality customer service to our clients. Other attributes will be demonstrated selling skills that meet or exceed goals, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to promote and participate as a team in activities undertaken by the station.
• Degree in Marketing/Communications &/or equivalent work experience;
• minimum of 2+ years sales/marketing experience, preferably in a business to business environment selling an intangible product; broadcasting
background preferred;
• knowledge of or familiarity with public television and radio;
• skilled in delivering presentations to individuals &/or to groups;
• strong problem solving and decision making skills
• experienced in negotiating with tact and diplomacy;
• must have own transportation;
• experience using Microsoft Office products &/or automated sales tools required.
