The weekly DEI Webinar Series offers member stations the opportunity to stay current and/or learn new skills in a variety of fundraising areas.  Our  live webinars allow you to interact with presenters and other attendees in real time, while our webinar archive gives you the chance to access the audio/video files at your convenience.

DEI eReport Monthly Newsletter
Each month, your staff will receive DEI eReport, delivered directly to their email box.  This robust publication features articles in a variety of fundraising disciplines.  There is no limit to the number of subscriptions your staff receives, so be sure that everyone gets a copy!

Benchmarks for Public Radio Fundraising Report
Published at the beginning of each calendar year, the Benchmarks Report provides you with an analysis of your net revenue in the areas of membership, major giving, and corporate support.  Your station's trend report shows you how your station's fundraising efforts are performing year to year, while the Peer Reports allow you to compare your performance to other stations like yours, by format and/or license type.  Free to DEI members!

Public Media Development and Marketing Conference (PMDMC)
Every summer, more than 600 of your public radio colleagues gather for the PMDMC - the revenue conference.  This annual 3-day training and networking event is your opportunity to keep up to date in the latest trends, research, proven practice techniques, and tools.  The PMDMC is the largest annual gathering of public radio professionals in the system.  DEI member stations receive a 40% discount on PMDMC conference registrations and a 20% discount on all DEI pre-conference workshops. Station Networking Groups
One important benefit of DEI membership is:  access to your member station colleagues!  DEI facilitates regular conference calls on behalf of various groups who want to stay in touch throughout the year.  Join the group that fits you best in order to share ideas, discuss issues, and trade success stories.

Pledge Drive Air Check Critiques
In addition to website materials, DEI provides a Pledge Drive Air Check Critique Service to member stations.  Timely analysis and recommendations to improve pledge drive performance are provided free of charge to DEI member stations who submit pitch audio.  For details, click here.

DEI-Lite
Looking for a budget option?  Stations with Non-Federal Financial Support (NFFS) of $200,000 or less may join DEI as a full member with dues of $1,295, with all benefits listed above, OR take advantage of our limited benefits option, DEI-Lite.

Annual dues for a basic DEI-Lite membership are $600 and include access to the following benefits:

  • Unlimited access to the DEI Resource Library
  • Unlimited access to the On-Demand webinar archive
  • Unlimited subscriptions to DEI eReport
  • Discounted rates to the Public Media Development and Marketing Conference and pre-conference workshops
  • Free participation in Benchmarks for Public Radio Fundraising report
  • Vendor discounts through the DEI Partner Program
  • Participation in DEI Co-Ops and Collaboratives (applicable fees apply)

Stations with a DEI-Lite membership cannot take advantage of:

  • Unlimited phone and email consultations with DEI advisors
  • Live webinar presentations
  • Pledge drive air check critique service

Add Ons
DEI-Lite stations who would like to attend live webinars and/or have airchecks critiqued may do so for an additional fee.  These services must be selected when you join DEI-Lite.

  • Attendance at live webinars can be purchased in blocks of 10 sessions for $150. 
  • Pledge Drive Aircheck Critiques can be purchased for $100 per hour of audio.
